Who we are
EWG is situated in Edinburgh, Scotland. We are known as the “City Without Walls” because God has told us we will so grow that we would not be able to be contained in a single place but a church in many locations. We present the Word of God to people of all backgrounds, and races in an interesting, informative style that is applicable to today’s world.
Practical expository preaching and teaching of the Word of faith, uplifting worship and countless special events provide wonderful opportunities for the entire family to grow spiritually. EWG is devoted to touching the lives of God’s people around the world – determined to EVANGELIZE, EDUCATE, ELEVATE, AND EMBRACE souls for the Kingdom.
At Embassy of the Word of God, the most recurrent word is change. Timely and inspired change is the mark of a healthy church that is alive to the directive of the Holy Spirit. EWG has evolved over the years, passing through series of changes required for more effective church ministry and by implication a greater impact on the larger society.
Mission
Our Mandate is to send the healing grace and message to our generation through the preaching of the Word of faith with the demonstration of the kingdom power through the Holy Spirit.

Our Core Values
Values are a response to the belief that you have in life. The values that shape and define us as a church are our particular response to the biblical truths that we embrace. Simply put, our values are the practical expression of the things we believe, and are summed up in the following points:
A love for the Gospel of Grace.
A passion for God, and emphasis on sound doctrine.
A pursuit of the active presence of God and the ministry of the Holy Spirit by speaking in tongues.
A pursuit of godliness and righteousness through the application of grace.
A commitment to relationship as a channel for God’s blessings in our lives.

Our Statement of Faith - What we believe
Our Believe
In the Embassy of the Word of God, we believe:
We believe the Word of God is infallible, Incorruptible and undefiled and able to save the total man. 2Timothy 3:16, 2Peter 1:20-21
We believe in the Doctrine of the Trinity, thus there is only one God, eternally existing in God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit is one. Isaiah 10:27, Acts 1: 1-8, Ephesians 4:5-6; 1Corinthians 8:6, Genesis 1:26, Matthew 3:16&17
We believe that every believer is empowered by the Holy Spirit to preach the Word in Season and out of Season, Cast out devils, heal the sick, speak in new tongues and shall not be harmed by any deadly thing.
We believe that all men have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God but with the heart man believes unto righteousness and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. Therefore only through faith in the cleansing of the blood of Jesus and confessing Him as Lord and saviour can one be saved. Romans 10: 9-10
We believe in the water Baptism by immersion and Baptism of the Holy Ghost with the outer evidence of speaking in tongues. Mark 16:16 Acts 2:4
We believe that Faith is the victory for the believer in all areas of life. 1John 5:4, Mark 11:23
We believe in the prosperity of the believer in all departments of life 3John 2
We believe in the Supernatural workings of the Holy Ghost in enabling the believer for effective service, and the redemptive work of Christ provides healing for the body and salvation for the soul of everyone that believes John 3:8, 1Peter 2:24, Acts 3:16, Acts 9:32-35.
We believe that the Wisdom of God is profitable to direct. Proverbs 24:3-4.
We believe that Prayer is the channel through which believers communicate with God for heavenly intervention on earth. Luke 18:1, Col 1:9
We believe in the sanctifying Power of the Holy Ghost and total consecration unto God. 2Timothy 2:1, Romans 15:16
We believe in giving God a total and High Praise for total victory. 2Chron. 20:22, Acts 16:25
We believe in the Second coming of the Lord Jesus Christ, also in the final resurrection of both the saved and the lost; the former to eternal life and the latter to eternal judgement 1 Thessalonians 4:13-17, Rev 20:11-15.
In giving alms to the poor, sick, homeless and others in despair tithes and offerings should be freely given to your local church. The local church is the place of membership where God has called you to receive His Word on a consistent basis and to grow spiritually.
We believe in divine healing—the restoration of health to those who believe and act on the truths written in God’s Word. We further believe that Jesus is our Healer and that by His stripes we are already healed.

In EWG, we emphasise the need for all those that will be engaged in the work of the ministry to be trained so we have structured a training course to help those interested in doing the work of the ministry.
